Oktoberfest, a beer festival held every month of October, will be organized by the SiGMA Asia “Sportsbook Operator of the Year” awardee OKBet in Pacita Complex 1 this coming Saturday, Oct. 14.
Dubbed “OKtoberfest,” the celebration that originated in Munich, Germany, will be held in Pacita 1, Pacita, San Pedro, Laguna, at four in the afternoon to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the feast of Sta. Rosario. It will also mark the return of the festival in the town after being canceled last year.
In partnership with Pacita LGU, the leading online gaming platform promises a night filled with music, fun, and booze, with a special prize prepared at the end of the festivity—one lucky attendee gets to go home riding a brand-new motorcycle. This will be 10 hours of non-stop entertainment for approximately 5,000 legal-aged attendees.
As promised by OKBet that it will bring a fun-filled night to everyone, they invited renowned bands and artists like Orange & Lemons, Tanya Markova, Alisson Shore, Queen Manica Money, and many more that would keep the music running until two in the morning.
Meanwhile, the collaboration between the platform and LGU Pacita excited the town’s Mayor, Art Joseph Francis Mercado.
“As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the feast of Sta. Rosario in Pacita 1, this OKtoberfest is not just a beer and music festival; it’s a celebration of our community spirit. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to OKBet for their support in bringing back this festival to all Pacitans,” said Mayor Mercado.
What to Bring in OKtoberfest?
If you are interested in joining the festivity, you may do so by purchasing a ticket at the ticketing booth for P100. You will also get a free booze!
You could also get a P20 off if you buy tickets even before it begins. Just look for Nath Estella at the Pacita Barangay Hall!
The Vapour Armament branches in Calendola, Pacita, and Silcas are also authorized sellers of OKtoberfest tickets, which you can buy for only P80 if you head there now!
Since this will be a ten-hour event with non-stop music and entertainment, it is encouraged that attendees must bring:
Phone and Powerbank
Getting lost in a crowd will be easy in this kind of event, and your phone will be your best friend if you get separated from your group. But if your phone’s about to die, just in case you need a powerbank, so bring one.
You can also use that power bank to charge your smartphone while browsing the internet using OKtoberfest’s free Wi-Fi, which is powered by Sky Fiber! While you are at the event and feel that you need to check in on your social media, just look for the OKBetXSkyFiber Wi-Fi name and connect!
Cash
Of course, you need money to get the most out of the event. There is merchandise available for purchase at the stalls around OKtoberfest. Also, you will be needing more cash to buy liquor and food to keep you filled and swayed while listening to the bands and artists.
Valid ID
For those looking younger than their actual age (lucky you), bring a valid ID and present it to OKtoberfest marshalls or the ticketing booth to prove that your age is what you claim it to be.
Extra Clothes
Events like this tend to get sweaty and wet, especially with the weather. So bring an extra set of clothes with you just in case your favorite shirt gets drizzled by water or alcohol.
Portable Hand Fan
Of course, it can become humid on the event grounds. To keep you fresh, bring that portable hand fan.
Alcohol and Sanitizer
We are still recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic, and the threat of the coronavirus is still here. Bring a sanitizer or alcohol to keep your hands and body free from unwanted bacteria and germs.
